Our circuit in India is going to be Delhi -- Agra -- Jaipur -- Pushkar -- Jodhpurs -- Undaipur -- Delhi.
We are going to drive through different parts of India. RAJASTHAN which has cities filled with some of the most historic monuments and it will take us back to the time when there were kings and Queens ruling this country. A tour of the classic triangle of India which includes the Capital city New Delhi, and the city of Agra, which is the home to one of the seven wonders of the world, TAI MAHAL. Then the pink city Jaipur, the holy city of Pushkar, the blue city Jodhpurs and the white city Udaipur.

As we had a free day today we took it slowly, visiting the big shopping mall next to the hotel. Was quite surprised to see how modern it was. All the top named shops and a huge complex. All air conditioned so a good place to be. Great weather full sun no clouds to be seen.

Our Singapore Air flight yesterday from Singapore to New Delhi. Not quite as comfortable as Air NZ Premium.

View from our hotel room. Not very clear as going through tinted windows.

Lovely people in the hotel very very friendly and so helpful. Forgot to say yesterday on our arrival we were upgraded to Club Floor which has a few good free perks like a lounge open all day for nice coffee and from 6.00pm to 8.00pm drinks and nibble enough hot food to make it enough for dinner so don't have to spend money down in the restaurants. We have upgraded to these Club room before and always enjoy them.

Part of the gardens outside along the front of the Mall. Lots of the trees like this are cut into shapes of animals.

As soon as we pulled the curtains back this morning this fellow arrived and just sat there staring.... Seven floors up

Every entrance to the Mall, and there are many, you are screen checked by security, bags through x ray machines the lot. Of note is that men have to go through a seperate gate than the women.
Inside only part of this huge Mall. It seems to go on forever this big complex.

Water features where you can sit and relax in the shade. Same area as above.
Normally a busy intersection just along from the hotel but not much traffic around today as it's a public holiday so you can imagine how bad it would be on a normal week day. Even so, today all you could hear was horns going. Everyone just goes, no road rules ignore the red lights and all going in different directions. So noisy how they miss each other I don't know. Last night when we came in from the airport about nineish, around peek hour for them, how we got to the Hotel in one peace was amazing!!!
We were told never go on a Tuk Tuk too dangerous, and that they rip you off always trying to get more money out of you.
Hotel pool. Small part of building on top right corner.
Couldn't get a clear photo of our room as too much glare coming through the windows.
